EU decrees taxes and charges to be included in airline ticket pricing

LUXEMBOURG – Europeans soon will see uniformity in flight ticket pricing. All taxes and service charges will be included in the price of airline tickets, according to a decision by the 27 EU ministers of Transportation. The Dutch travel industry already had voluntarily adopted the measure but other countries had not. The traveler no longer will be faced with unexpected additional costs when buying a ticket.
