MINEOLA, New York - Van Son Holland Ink Corp. of America and A.B. Dick Co. have teamed up to distribute Van Son's full line of duplicator's inks and pressroom supplies throughout North America. The alliance will increase market penetration for Van Son products and provide a supplement to A.B. Dick's own range of products and services.
The two companies plan to expand their cooperation next year, when Van Son inks and supplies will be available worldwide through A.B. Dick's distribution channels.
Founded by Philip van Son in the Netherlands in 1872, Van Son Printing Ink Corporation is celebrating its 125th anniversary. The firm began with selling sealing wax and India inks, and later added a broader range of inks. Van Son now has sales worth over $100 million, and employs approximately 300 people at its Dutch home base in Hilversum and in its U.S. subsidiary at Mineola.
Van Son added its U.S. dealer network in the 1950, expanding to Canada in 1959.
