Run, Kevin, Run!
by Prins, Piet
Orphaned and feeling shipwrecked, Kevin Robbins ends up with relatives who, unlike his own parents, are practising Christians. Unable to make the adjustment, Kevin ‘cops out’ by running away to his hometown. On the way he is adopted by two crooks who insist on ‘protecting’ him from the police. He fools himself into believing that as long as he has no clear proof of his partner's crime his own conscience is clear. But when the proof comes, Kevin finds himself also wanted by the police, and his description broadcasted by the media. Oh, boy! Kevin keeps running from his foster parents, from people he want to help him, from the crooks, from the police, and mostly from himself. How will this all end? Ages 10 and up.
